Busy and deadlifts
Have not been blogging because I have been getting some things in order on my end. Townson fitness has opened there arms and accepted my knowledge and experience and I am not coaching the powerlifting team and am extremely excited! In terms of training I am switching my deadlift and squat days just to try something new. So I deadlifted on Friday and smoked 525 with ease and no belt and then I deadlifted today and did 425 with 40lbs in chain for a set of 6 then I did 500 with the chains for a single. then did block deadlifts with 500 for 2 doubles. I find my sticking point is from my knees to lock out. So I am attacking that area hard!

Today is a off day from the gym and going to do 30 mins of bike and then going to do 3 sets of 45sec planks.

Snow Bench and new things to come
What a snowy day here in toronto, but still the lifting must continue. Today is speed bench day and hitting 225 for six doubles with chains. At a new place a new partner. in townsonfitness. Squats and Untrustworthy workout partners
Yesterday was a disappointing day for me. I just felt like i wasn't in the groove all day. I hit 445 for a set of 5 but it felt like shit. I was suppose to train with someone who just didn't show up at all so it left me asking random people if they knew how to spot a squat. Took me 30 mins to get my set in just to find a suitable spotter. I was pissed. I did some accessories and left. This brings up a good point because I know i am not the only one this has happened to. I am just glad that i am an experience lifter and it was not me leaving him alone. Always make sure you have a partner that is as dedicated as you!

cardio, abs, and trigger point
Happy super bowl sunday! Yesterday was a cardio day, I did HIIT training on the bike doing 20 sec full on 40 sec slow for 10 rounds. I then moved to some abs doing leg lift holds for 20 sec on 10 sec off for 12 rounds. Finished it off with trigger point therapy on my calve, quads,glutes,and hip flexors
